Anime Fan Club Un-Panel

I was thinking about having like a meeting/get
together or something for Anime clubs in the area
discuss how each club runs themselves, and maybe
give ideas to each other.

[That] would certainly rock!

Another event I've got to add to my "must-attend list."

FanimeCon in May of 2005 for people interested in organizing an anime fan club with regular, free showings of anime (for example, a school or library club). The "VIPs" will be anyone who attends who is interested in forming a club or has become an organizer (officer/staff/etc.) of a club in the last year or so. It will be the moderator\'s job to make sure that most of the discussion focuses on the questions, goals and experiences of these VIPs. Longer-time club organizers and representatives of anime companies/related businesses/sponsoring organizations are invited to attend and help answer questions and give suggestions. Anyone else who wants to join and listen is welcome.'); ?>

The more detail and suggestions page is updated with some of my notes and information about anime on 35mm from Sophie McNutt of Funimation. (For 2005 at least, no more updates to this web site are planned.)

Thanks to those who attended! The more detail and suggestions page is updated to include youth librarian related links. (Maybe I'll make one more update with the some notes from the discussion. If not, don't expect any updates at least in 2006.)
